The point release 1.6.22.1 has been announced. This is a minimal point
release to support for Linux 4.14 and to fix serveral build errors.

A pre-release to address the getcwd() issues reported on RHEL 7.4 will be
issued. Sites will be encouraged to report results of the prerelease.

Stephan proposed a 1.6.22.2 release with the following changes:

1. high sierra support
2. linux 4.15 support
3. rpm specfile changes to build kernel-debuginfo package
4. changes to address getcwd() issues on RHEL7.4 (under review)

This would be released shortly the changes to address getcwd()
issues have been merged.
